Harvested ripe, just at the point where acidity starts to drop and transitions toward bitter flavours. Part hand-destemmed and part direct pressed. The destemmed fruit macerated in the pressed juice for one month, then the wine was transferred to old barrels after décuvage. Two years aging in barrel, minimally topped up. Very light red with a pinot-like presentation. The wine is anything but subtle. Heady, with powerful ripe fruit and a well integrated spiced fragrance.
