50/50 blend of old-vine Gamay from Beaujolais and Chardonnay from Bugey. The Gamay macerates whole-cluster in the direct pressed juice of the Chardonnay for 10 months before being pressed off. Aging in old barrels. Deep and concentrated expression of berry-like fruit on this year's version. Blackberry, raspberry, and citrus with a small cut of earthiness. The wine is lively and driven by broad acid. Incredible appeal with the amount of fruit jam-packed into this wine.
