Ederlezi 2020 MAGNUM

Gamay from the Beaujolais, with Ugni Blanc from Lubéron. Gamay macerating in the direct press juice of the Ugni Blanc, with this cuvée seeing 10 months of macerating before being pressed off into fiberglass tank. A style of red that has almost become Antoine’s signature at this point. The Gamay is apparent off the jump, with its candied red-fruit, and the Ugni Blanc brings a hyper-fresh lift to the palate. An earthy touch to the fruit adds a bit of complexity, and even with its fine tannins, manages to stay light and bright in terms of drinking.
