Homo Ça Coince 2020

Patrick’s red that is always Cab dominant. Some years with a bit of Cab Franc, this vintage is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 2 months of maceration before devatting and pressing into qvevri. Sappy, stemmy, and rustic, in all the right ways. The fruit on the nose presents more as Cab Franc, with its stemmy, green pepper direction, but has a darker and sweeter quality to it. Surprisingly the wine is light and lifted in the mouth, with plenty of fruit but nothing weighing it down. A significant cut of chalky tannins, and all sorts of rustic charm to swoon over.
