3 separate wines from the 2019 vintage all fruit from the Bannwarth family in Alsace. Oxidative barrels of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer. All treated the same with direct pressing overnight to allow oxidation to start. 6 months of outdoor fermentation, moved into the cellar to age in old barrels without topping up for another 4 and a half years. Assemblage in the spring of 2024 before bottling, with 6 more months resting in bottle before release. Vin Jaune level of intensity with high toned oxidative and golden fruit.
