Juno Block Pinot Gris/ Pinot Noir 2022

All fruit harvested from the Juno Block Vineyard, an organic vineyard project from neighbors of theirs in Summerland, the Smythe family. A single vineyard planted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris, in 2018. Since 2020, Keenan and Zoë have established a working relationship with the family, and have been harvesting and purchasing all of the fruit each year. A blend of 2 parts - 60% Pinot Gris, and 40% Pinot Noir. 7 days of maceration, with whole cluster fermentation for half of the fruit. Somewhere between a maceration or skin contact wine and a very light red/ dark rosé. Orange blossom with rich almost candied red fruit.
