Les Trognes de Pinot 2022

100% Pinot Noir from the oldest vines in Auvillars-sur-Saône. The vines range in age from 80-100 years.The name comes from the shape of these gnarly old vines, which Benoît says gives the perfect grape bunches. A deep wine with a subtle sweetness and a silky touch on the palate. On the nose, the fruit is beautifully floral, with field berries and a smoky minerality, no doubt a product of these old vines. A Pinot that sits closer to Fleurie in its expression. Delicactley beautiful and full of detail.
