Clay-limestone soils in Husseren-les-Châteaux, and from fine, silty, limestone soils near Obermorschwihr. Hard and extended pneumatic direct pressing of the grapes. Fermentation and aging on lees in 2000L Foudres for 10 months before bottling. The entry offering in terms of Pinot Blanc. Anything but straightforward or typical. Rich and salty golden fruits with a broad palate that leans in an exotic, tropical direction. Hard pressing of the grapes lends to a certain tannacity in the mouth, that's drawn out with its salty expression. Framed with broad acid and a smack of residual sugars.
