Pinot Noir of the domaine. A prized and highly expressive entry wine, as Bruno is often noted for his work with Pinot Noir. A blend of 3 parcels makes up this bottling, with grapes from Stich (Husseren), Valdele (a site just above Grand Cru Eichberg), as well as grapes from Grand Cru Pfersigberg. All a mix of clay-limestone soils with some sandstone. Maceration for approximately 20 days before pressing to Foudres to age on lees. Élevage for 11 months before bottling. Heady and perfumed fruit. Dark cherry, plums, and white florals. There's a rustic and earthy note in the mouth with plenty of chalky tannins.
